Perfect mid-range smart-switch switch with active 802.3af/at and passive PoE out!
The CRS112-8P-4S-IN is an eight Gigabit RJ45 port PoE switch with versatile PoE output options including autosensing 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ as well as passive PoE. In addition to the copper ports it sports four SFP ports to provide optical fiber connectivity at up to 1 Gbps, These SFP cages are compatible with RJ-45 copper modules such as the MikroTik S-RJ01 .
The CRS112-8P-4S-IN is equipped with 12 independent switching ports. A 28V 3.4 A power supply is already included in the box. There is a secondary DC jack on the back of the enclosure that supports a 48-57 V power supply (not included, can be purchased separately). In addition to powering passive PoE devices at 24V using the included 28V power the CRS112-8P-4S-IN can power 48V 802.3af/at devices if the additional 48-57 V DC input is used.
If you want to power both 24V passive and 48V active 802.3af/at devices at the same time you need two power supplies.
The CRS will automatically detect and provide the correct voltage to the powered devices.
Max current is 1 A per port if input voltage is 18-28 V, 450 mA if 48-57 V. Total limit is 2.8A@24V and 1.4A@48-57V.
