On the surface, it’s straightforward:
- 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE-in (#1) and PoE-out (#2 & #3)
- 3× 10G SFP+ cages for long-distance fiber
- 3 DC outputs for devices that don’t use PoE, for example, IoT setups
- Heavy-duty IP66 enclosure with handy mounting hardware
- A dedicated 10G switch chip (tested in ISP favorites like the netPower Lite 7R)
But the real advantage is how it allows you to manage power and data overlong distances (1-2 km) even in the trickiest scenarios!
